BROWSER COMPATIBILITY
The Peabody Essex Museum Shop website is best viewed with
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and above.
INTERNET EXPLORER
SECURITY
Parts of our web site will not function correctly if you
have selected the highest possible security settings within
Internet Explorer because this mode disables Active Scripting.
If you encounter problems, you may correct them by doing
the following:
In your Internet Explorer browser select “Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
Select the security tab at the top of the popup window that appears
Click and drag the sliding scale bar down from highest to medium
Click “OK.”
Complete your transaction.
Re-instate your former security settings once you are ready to exit the site by reversing steps 1 – 4.
PROBLEMS ACCESSING
SECURE AREAS
If you are on a network and encounter difficulties accessing
secure areas of the Peabody Essex Museum Shop website, ask
your network administrator for assistance. Possible solutions
include configuring Internet Explorer to Use Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) versions of 2.0 and 3.0, ciphering strength
value in Internet Explorer, and clearing temporary Internet
files, cookies, and history.
Changing settings on a computer that is connected to a network
at any time can affect the entire network, so please contact
your network administrator prior to attempting to implement
any solutions. The Peabody Essex Museum Shop website will
not be held liable for damage.
HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR MEMBER DISCOUNT
All PEM members are eligible to receive a 10% discount at the Peabody Essex Museum Shop and PEM Shop website. To receive your discount at checkout, you must input your Membership Number into the Membership # Field at Sign-in. Entering your Membership Number at Sign-in will also allow you to view your special membership pricing while browsing our website.

SHIPPING
We ship via UPS (United Parcel Service) to verifiable, physical
street addresses within the Continental U.S. only. Prices quoted on
website are for UPS Ground Service within the United States.
For orders shipped out of the U.S. and to APO boxes, or for
RUSH service please

for shipping quotes. Shipments to PO and APO
boxes will be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service. Orders
shipped Internationally please
e-mail us
for a shipping quote. Custom fees or charges
on international shipments are the responsibility of the
customer or recipient and not the responsibility of the
Peabody Essex Museum.
PAYMENT
The Peabody Essex Museum Shop website accepts Visa, MasterCard,
and American Express credit cards. We do not accept checks,
cash, or COD for online orders.
A sales tax of 5% is added to any order shipped to Massachusetts’s
addresses. Sales tax is not charged on shipments to addresses
outside of Massachusetts. Non-Massachusetts customers are
responsible for reporting and paying sales tax in their own states.
RETURNS
Your satisfaction with the products that we sell is important to us. If you are not satisfied you may return items with valid sales receipt for a refund within 30 days of purchase.
